We received Bella Mia in August 2009 from Vetese Long Haired German Shepherds. Her parents are Justice and Romeo. We were heartbroken on the death of our beloved Rosie, a long haired german shepherd we had adopted from a shelter as an adult in 2002. I was determined to find another LHGSD. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found such a good breeder in Krista. Bella Mia has been like a shining light in our lives. She is everything we wanted and is so beautiful, smart and kind. She loves everyone, people and dogs, and everyone loves her. We are so impressed that we are even thinking of getting another puppy from Krista in the next year or two. My husband bought Mia for my birthday, and she is absolutely the best present I have ever received!

Hello, I have your site on my favorites as I love the looks of Romeo. I e-mailed you about 10 month's ago seeking a playmate for my Irish wolfhound willow. Do to the the shaky economy we never put a deposit down after passing your background check. I know the price was well worth it but we had to pass at that time. So we put the word out with our animal behaviorist Carlene to find us us a playmate. She found us Zeke an A litter GSD close to our home with direct German lines.  Zeke turn out to be a LHGSD the tuffs by the ears, the straight back, the sweet personality. WOW he looks like Romeo. The breeders had every right to charge 2000 for the beautiful pups but the economy lead her to sell for a huge reduction. So we were not happy when we passed on being on your puppy list but another door opened and Zeke walked in. I will send a pic soon. Best of everything, Mark

Hi, We loved your pictures of all the puppies. Of course our favourite is Abby as we are her aunt and uncle. When I go for a walk with Delores and Abby, many people remark about what a beautiful dog she is. One of her ears flops over and that is a part of her personality. I know Delores and Len love her dearly but I am not too sure about her 4 brothers.(they happen to be cats). She is a lucky dog to have such a wonderful home.

I just wanted to let you know that you have a beautiful website and beautiful dogs.  I have only ever had the chance to have one dog in my life and I loved her dearly.  She passed away several years ago and due to life circumstances, I was unable to get another dog. I am very interested in German Shepherds and when I was directed to your website, I was so pleased to see that you take such great care to ensure that your dogs find loving families and homes with people who will take care of them for a lifetime.  I was wondering when your next breeding will take place and how much a deposit for one of your dogs would be if the application process is successfully finished. Thank you so much for your time, again, your dogs are so beautiful.

I have just spent a glorious 30 minutes or so browsing your site. My family has such a love of German shepherds and your dogs are gorgeous. They look healthy and most importantly they look loved. At this time we are not looking to make an addition to our family, but we did want to let you know we felt your dogs would be a wonderful addition to anyones family.

Love your web site.  It was sent to me by a friend.  I had to put my 4th shephard down a few years ago.  She was 12 and the hips went and she had cancer.  Lost my best friend.  Love shepherds and I don't know if I could take losing another one....but thinking about it....Your dogs are beautiful...I have never had a long haired.

I just wanted to let you know that it is obvious from your website that you love your dogs.  We have an 8 year old Long Coat named "Leah" and I cherish her every day.  I am afraid that when the day comes that we lose her (hopefully not for many many years) the void will never be filled.  But since I've found your site, I feel a bit better!  Hopefully you are still doing such great work in the future -Keep up the good work - they are beautiful dogs!

I justed wanted to say that you have beautiful dogs! We have a long haired German Shepherd as well. She turned 4 just last week. We don't know much about her line other than both parents were AKC registered with their papers being lost. Best wishes and good luck - I will be in touch if we decide to expand.

"I was surfing the internet to find Long Haired German Shepherds and came across your website. Your website is so informative about the breed and that is just what I needed because I have never been owned by a LHGSD or a GSD for that matter.  I am used to being owned by a Golden Retriever who recently passed away and I was looking into getting a LHGSD because I love how they look but I did not know if that breed would be suitable for us.  The information on your breed was very helpful.  I also LOVE that puppy house that you had built in your backyard.  That is the cutest thing I have ever seen.  We live on opposite coasts so it is impossible for me to come and visit, but if I did live closer to you, I would come by all the time to play with the puppies in their little house.  Your news gallery where you post the progress/photos of the puppies after they are born is such a wonderful thing for their new owners to see what they look like and what they are doing.  I really love the photos of the puppies with their new owners too, that is very sweet.  Your FAQ is wonderful!  Also the info page has all the info in a click!!!  That really saves time.  Thanks for taking the time and effort to build your website so people can understand and see these beautiful dogs."

One of our puppy owners from Litter A (Acerra Willow) sent me a speech that her 10 year old son Zack wrote for school about Willow and I wanted to share it with everyone to read as I thought it was so sweet.

**You did a great job Zack**

Mans Best Friend

Good evening honorable judges, parents, family Members, teachers and students.  I am going to tell you something that you will never forget.  It is bone chilling (just kidding).  This is my story about my friend Willow.

I got Willow from vetese german shepards when I was 9.  We picked her up at the airport.  It was love at first sight she has big loopy ears and a puffy black tail.  She has brown on her tummy and black on her top.  She is a beautiful pure breed.

When we got her home we could not let her go up and down the stairs because we were told by the breeder it could hurt her.  But she loves walks she is very good at staying with us when we let her off her leash.  She usually sniffs around for other dog scents.

She is a very smart dog. For example whenever there are people up ahead of us on walks we know because she puts her nose up and 2 minutes later there is a family that walks by.

On her first winter we played for hours in the snow and then looked up at me as if to say "what is this cold fluffy white stuff."

She also loves human food her favorite food is everything.

I also have another dog named Darby. Darby loves me but sometimes darby gets very jealous and growls at willow.  Willow pees so much that she turns red but she is still the cutest dog in the world.

She also chews up everything toys and carpets and even her own cage. Once I carved out a sharp stick with my pocket knife and then I saw her laying down chewing on it.

She is also very good in the car on road trips. She sticks both of her legs up in the air and then looks at me with a very silly face.

There is a guinea pig in my brothers room. She can stare at it for hours without blinking a eye. I consider her like Marley she is like her identical twin. but better trained and better looking.

I love willow and she loves me and we all get along. Darby is ten years old and willow is 10 months old. willow also has all her vaccinations done and she is my beautiful super hero!
